Hi, I'm Amanda - a portrait photographer based in New Jersey, specializing in family portraits, cake smash sessions, and small events. I'm passionate about capturing authentic moments that can be cherished for a lifetime.
My love for art and photography started at a young age. I studied graphic design at Ramapo College of New Jersey, where I also took film and digital photography courses. During that time I worked alongside a professional photographer, which was a wonderful experience. After college, I moved to Maui, Hawaii with my boyfriend (now husband!) and fell in love with photographing the island's breathtaking sunrises, sunsets and scenery. As much as I loved photographing nature (and still do), I stepped out of my comfort zone and discovered my passion for portrait photography - capturing genuine emotions and real connections between families and loved ones. There's something incredibly rewarding about freezing a moment in time - the love, laughter, and connection - and turning it into a lasting memory.
Since then, I've returned to New Jersey and started a family of my own. We now have two amazing children who keep us on our toes and inspire me daily. Over the years, I've held various creative roles - including graphic design and product photography - but I always find myself drawn back to my passion of capturing the beauty, emotion, and magic that only a portrait can hold.
